Lega dei Ticinesi
(League of the Ticinese)

The Lega dei Ticinesi is a small regionalist right-wing party in the mainly Italian-speaking canton Ticino. Its foundation in 1991 was inspired by the Lega Nord in Northern Italy. It has one seat in the 200-seat lower chamber of the Swiss Parliament (Nationalrat = National Council).

The logo shows a shield with a map of Ticino in the Ticinese colours red-blue (per pale); behind the shield two hands hold a Ticinese flag (red over blue) and four spears. Under the shield the party name. The flag shows this logo in the center of a white field.
